Who we share it with
We only share your information where we need to, with:
- Formspree, which receives enquiry form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- Our email and phone providers, which carry our communications with you.
- Suppliers involved in your event, such as venues, caterers or performers, but only the details they need to do their part.
- Our accountant, HMRC or other authorities, where the law requires it.
Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address.
International transfers
Some of these providers (including Formspree, Meta and Google) may process information in the United States or elsewhere outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision (such as the UK–US Data Bridge) or by the UK’s approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Booking and financial records: up to 6 years after the event, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
- Photos and videos used with consent: until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email info@hapidayzevents.com. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.
Children
Our website is intended for adults planning events. Where we hold information about children, such as a birthday child’s name and age, it is provided by their parent or guardian and used only to deliver the event.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
